Forecast: Science at RAMM

Experience the science and challenges behind weather prediction and help the Met Office test the latest version of an interactive weather forecast. These events are organised with the Met Office Informatics Lab as part of the Met Office's 50th anniversary celebrations of televised weather forecasts. The Met Office Informatics Lab creates prototypes to make environmental data and science useful to human beings. Informatics logo The current Science Labs are a lead into working with the Met Office during the Whatever the Weather exhibition, 21 November 2015 to 10 Apr 2016 . However it also links to the Met Office’s 50th Anniversary of televised weather forecasts, and will be part of the bid to National Government funding for ‘Smart Cities'.
