Professor Amy de la Haye, Chair of Dress History and Curatorship at London College of Fashion and author of Lucile Ltd, will speak about Lucile, the first couturier to have fashion houses in London, Paris and New York. Lucile’s blue figured silk evening dress with gold net sleeves from 1911 is part of the Fashion Museum collection and on display in the Great Names of Fashion exhibition at the museum.
