To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Peterborough Museum is staging a special exhibition of the iconic pictures from Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland books.
The original illustrations for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass and what Alice found there were drawn by John Tenniel, the most famous of which are featured in this exhibition.
Come face to face with the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the King and Queen of Hearts, the Mock Turtle, the Cheshire Cat – and Alice herself in the very strange world of Wonderland!
