This session is for people with memory problems, their families and carers. and will begin with refreshments. We will touch and talk about objects from RAMM’s handling collections on a seasonal theme, such as trees in art, wood carvings from around the world, and artefacts reflecting autumnal colours.
The museum uses its treasure trove of objects to provoke thoughts and spark conversations, whether it’s touching a 1,600-year-old Roman tile, standing next to a totem pole, taking a long look at a painting of Dartmoor, or making tropical butterflies. RAMM’s dementia-friendly activities are inspired by a groundbreaking programme at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Admission
£15 (includes visitor plus companion). Living Each Season sessions are suitable for people with mild to moderate memory problems, accompanied by a friend/relative/carer. Numbers are limited to ensure the best possible experience.
