A Victorian Christmas

Come and soak up the atmosphere of Christmas past with us this season: - Keep a look out for Queen Victoria, but don’t forget to bow or curtsey -Take the children to visit Father Christmas and his elves in the grotto -Have our Butler serve you some warm Mulled Wine or a softer alternative Visit the Blacksmiths forge where you can taste hot chestnuts Or have a sing song around the piano by candle lightSanta with a couple of young visitors Come through to the Chapel where we’re showing old Christmas film footage Come into the parlour and keep warm by the fire while we entertain you with carols Venture into the school room where we have Christmas arts and crafts to keep you busy Toast yourself and a slice of bread at the kitchen range, then spread it with lashings of butter Stroll the Street of Shops to experience times gone by Enjoy the indoor Christmas Market stalls selling local arts and crafts Finish off in the Granary cafe where you can enjoy homemade cakes and mince pies, hot chocolate and much, much more.
