Durham Cathedral is hosting an animal extravaganza on the Durham City woodlands and riverbanks to celebrate World Animal Day.
Enjoy a spectacular bird of prey display and a range of family activities including face-painting, mask-making, badge making, dog demonstrations, and the chance to build your own bug house.
Embark on a nature safari around the woodlands and riverbanks with one of our self-led children’s trails and get closer to nature with animal handling throughout the day.
Adults can enjoy a history walk along the woodlands and riverbanks at 10.00am.
