The Disability Discrimination Act is a law that aims to protect disabled people and promote equality of access to services, education and employment. This exhibition explores the development of the ground breaking law and what it means to disabled people, how it improves their lives and what else still needs to be achieved. All aspects of the exhibition have been written and created by disabled people and offer an opportunity to learn more about the disabled people’s movement.
