In this classic romantic drama, a spinster (Bette Davis) is driven to a nervous breakdown by her domineering mother but recovers with a psychiatrist's help. She then takes an ocean voyage where she blooms as a woman and has an affair with a married man that leads to self-fufilment in an unexpected way. In partnership with Stow Film Lounge.
