A purpose built Museum opened in 1886. Designed by Thomas M Lockwood to house the collections of Charles Kingsley and the Chester Society of Natural Science, Literature and Art. Free Museum Tours on Saturday and Sunday, especially for Heritage Open Days. No need to book - just drop in. Quizzes and colouring sheets for children
