Heritage Open Days: A History of Salford Museum and Art Gallery

Ceri Horrocks, Heritage Development Manager at the museum, will look at how the museum has grown and developed since its opening in 1850. This presentation will includes anecdotes from the museum's history and archive images showing the changes the museum has undergone. This event is part of Heritage Open Days (link is external) and is mainly a seated presentation with an opportunity to walk around the galleries to look at some of the features at the end of the talk. Please meet in the museum reception.
