We are a local history museum in the old Grammar School in Kingsbridge, where you can still see the marks left by the pupils. We showcase the stories of the people and places of Kingsbridge and the South Hams. We have a selection of changing displays, including an exhibition on the South Hams in WW1, a tribute to a farming family, local needlework and embroidery, and a selection of shoes from the museum's collection. We also have a wonderful farming gallery of local historic farm equipment, a Victorian kitchen, and much more. We have activities for the whole family including a drawing table, dressing-up box and quizzes and trails. Plus a wonderful museum shop full of great gifts and souvenirs and a walled garden to enjoy if the sun is shining.
