Join fashion historians Jayne Shrimpton and Suzanne Rowland at Worthing Museum & Art Gallery for a day devoted to the study of fashion
from the highly decorative S bend silhouette of the Edwardian era to the military inspired, utilitarian clothes, of the First World War.
The study day will include a series of talks illustrated by a selection of garments and images from the museum’s collection, and a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the museum’s extensive costume collection with curator Gerry Connelly. A family photograph dating session will take place at the end of the day with Jayne. Lunch, tea and coffee are provided.
