Local historian, genealogist and author Dr David Wright will be talking about the life and career of Bryan Faussett, C18th antiquary and archaeologist who made many important discoveries in Kent. At the time of his death in 1776 he had amassed the world's greatest collection of Anglo-Saxon jewellery and antiquities, including the Kingston Brooch. Copies of Dr Wright’s book will also be for sale.
