Agincourt

To commemorate the anniversary of Agincourt this special exhibition will tell the moving story of the build-up to the battle, the unfolding events of the day, the aftermath and legacy. The exhibition will bring together medieval arms, armour, art, music and manuscripts. At the centre of the exhibition with be a stunning diorama of th battle, giving visitors the opportunity the witness the tumalt and chaos of the battle itself at a crucial moment in its development. A lively programme of events will accompany the exhibition from 24 October to 1 November, including talks, skill-at-arms demonstrations and activities for all the family. Visitors will be able to experience for themselves what it would have been like to stand amongst knights, soldiers and archers, preparing for battle and to hear the stories of the prsoners who were kept at the Tower after the battle. The exhibition runs from 23 October 2015 to 31 January 2016.
