Airfix Make and Take

This summer holiday, we are inviting families to participate in a fun model making activity. Taking place from Monday 17 to Friday 21 August, visitors will have the opportunity to build a 1:72 Airfix Spitfire model. The model making activity will be taking place in the Museum’s Hangar 1 and sessions will run from 11.30am to 3.30pm each day. Participation is just £3.00 per person and all materials including glue, paints and brushes will be provided by the Museum. Tickets can be purchased on the day from the Visitor Centre. Please Note: The Airfix activity is not suitable for children under the age of 8. Children will need to be supervised by an adult and may require assistance with the model making. For families with younger children there is a wooden biplane to assemble and decorate together.
