Once upon a time, there were thousands of little narrow-gauge railways like ours across the country, forming a vital part of the transport networks of a variety of industries, as well as the miitary.
Almost all have now vanished, but the Leighton Buzzard Railway--in continuous operation since 1919--has survived. Using our working museum collection of locomotives and wagons, we recreate those bygone years.
