Back and Forth across the Channel, Sickert’s Networks in Dieppe

Sickert cemented some of his most memorable friendships while staying in Dieppe. From summer 1885, Jacques-Émile Blanche and Edgar Degas introduced him to a Paris art world far beyond the reach of many British artists. Anna Gruetzner Robins will explore how Dieppe became a meeting point for some of the successive communities of artists and writers, through which Sickert's commitment to internationalism grew. Unless otherwise stated, ticket booking for the forthcoming events season (starting 4 July 2015) opens to the public on Tuesday 30 June 2015. Booking opens for Pallant House Gallery Friends on Tuesday 23 June 2015. If you would like to book tickets to our events, please telephone the Gallery on 01243 774557 unless otherwise stated. The booking office is closed on Mondays.
