Archaeology Day
A fantastic day with activities and information from exploring the archaeology found in our local area with experts on hand to guide you through what's to be found and where to becoming a Roman Centurion - take part in drills and be put through your paces to see if you would make it in the Roman Army.Plenty of activities from pottery making - take home your own replica Roman Pot to mosaic creating and jewellery making.

ENTRY to the museum is FREE. Archaeology tables and talks are FREE. Roman Centurion Experience is FREE Pottery and jewellery and mosaic making workshops are £5 per activity per child
