Sylvia Ayton has had a long and illustrious career in the world of fashion. She worked in partnership with Zandra Rhodes during the ‘Swinging Sixties’ and later designed for Wallis. Sylvia will recount her fascinating experiences of the fashion world, with emphasis on her early career.
We have recently acquired a rare Sylvia Ayton/Zandra Rhodes dress from 1966 which will be on display. The talk also perfectly complements our current Fashion Statements exhibition and links to the Museum’s 50th anniversary.
