Pirates & Privateers

This family friendly exhibition explores our fascination with pirates and their roots in our past. Exciting loans will include Johnny Depp’s costume from The Pirates of the Caribbean film, Aardman animation figures and genuine weapons of the time. Plus, your chance to find out what a pirate smelt like! This fun and informative exhibition will highlight pirate links to Hull and the North Sea as well as the broader history of these mythical characters from history and culture.
