My father, Boscoe Holder, the quintessential Renaissance Man, excelled as a painter, pianist, dancer, choreographer, and costume designer. Born in Trinidad, his London-based life featured performances on television, in films, in private theatre clubs, on BBC radio programmes, and in cabaret. His paintings are in private collections around the world, and his fully documented, enchanting, and unique story is of a man of colour being accepted in all strata of English society from 1950 to 1970. Talk will be led by Christian Holder, Son of the late artist.
