This lunchtime lecture charts the impact of Huguenots in Spitalfields and East Anglia from the 1670s until about 1835.
Stunning silks illustrate the story of this renowned weaving community, who commissioned patterns from designers such as James Leman and Anna Maria Garthwaite, and also adapted to changes in taste and technology.
This lecture is taking place during the Huguenots of Spitalfields' 'Huguenot Summer' Festival.
