Experience the underground world of an ironstone miner on this special evening tour. Learn about life as a miner from Alan a former apprentice ironstone miner, then venture into one of Loftus Mines original haulage drift with Mick, before being transported back in time to the Victorian era and meeting our on duty deputy Maurice.
After your shift there’ll be time for a cup of tea and a chance to don a flat cap and waist coat to have your photo taken as a memento of your visit.
