Composition-in-Progress
Every year, Handel House commissions its Composer-in-Residence to write a new piece of music inspired by Handel and his House. Edwin Hillier, the current Composer-in-Residence Apprentice, will present his work in progress, discuss the processes he goes through to compose a new piece and consider Handel’s composition process in comparison. This level of exposure into the creative process of writing music is a rare treat and will appeal to both musical enthusiasts and students alike.
