The Great War: Lusitania Commemoration Day
Mrs Neville moved in with her sister in Watford after losing her family and all her belongings when the Lusitania was sunk by a German U-Boat on May 7th 1915.
Purcell pupil Elliott Kendall has composed a commemoration classical composition, performed by a string and flute trio. Greg McCormick will be bringing the story of the Lusitania to life with storytelling and poetry recitals on WW1 will take place by Watford Writers.
