Join us after hours for an artistic evening inspired by 18th century society.
Embrace an evening of big wigs, gossip, molly spoons, opera and gin drinking in celebration of our summer exhibition William Hogarth: Painter & Printmaker.
Artist Tom Marshman and historian Steve Poole will peep behind the patches and powder at the lifestyles of the fabulously rich and ruinously poor in Hogarth’s world. Guests are invited to explore the museum galleries as the underbelly of the 18th century is unfolded by artists throughout the night.
Free entry into William Hogarth: Painter & Printmaker from 6pm. Part of Museums at Night.
