As part of the Festival of Archaeology we are holding a special event for people to find out more about local archaeology and see the changes we have been making at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet.
The National Festival of Archaeology 2014 runs from 111-26 July! Co-ordinated by the Council for British Archaeology, the Festival offers over 1,000 events nationwide, organised by museums, heritage organisations, national and country parks, universities, local societies, and community archaeologists.
