The Human Face of the Great War

'The Human Face of the Great War’ Bill Fulton, Chairman of the Essex Branch of the Western Front Association. This talk looks at personal and family experiences of the Great War, featuring many local stories. One story illustrates the effect on a local Witham family of a tragic accident on the home front and how this brought the war home to them. Other tales look at local peoples’ experiences of the war overseas.
