Evening lecture: John Vernon Lord - drawn to drawing in Ditchling

John Vernon Lord is a master illustrator of children’s and adult books. In this talk he will discuss aspects of drawing and illustrating. He will show images of his work that span a career of 55 years, 44 of them living in Ditchling. These will range from his children’s books (such as The Giant Jam Sandwich), fables and nonsense to myths, legends and Finnegans Wake.
