Northumberland at War is a Heritage Lottery funded project based at Northumberland Archives at Woodhorn and Berwick Upon Tweed. The project will engage a number of volunteers to undertake cataloguing, digitisation, social media and community based outreach events.
This talk will take you on journey through some of our collections, highlighting particualr content and providing examples of how the collections can be used to undertake detailed research into various aspects of the history of the First World War. It will include case studies involving soldiers who served during the First World War with Northumberland connections to help illustrate this.
