Join us for a day of activities exploring the history of WWI
All day activities:
• Interactive uniform and weaponry displays with the Braintree cadets
• Drop-in family craft workshops – Poppies and Planes
• Replica M1.C Bristol fighter plane
• Family Research Table – Advice on how to research your relatives during WWI
Timed Programme:
10:45am – 11:15am: Braintree Musical Society – Join in with period songs or just enjoy listening
11:00am – 12:30pm: Guided Walk of Braintree’s WWI history – With Mike Bardell. Advanced booking required, please call the museum.
11:45am – 12:15pm: Interactive lecture on WWI weaponry - With the Braintree Cadets
12:00pm – 1:30pm: Try some WW1-style food
1:45pm – 2:15pm: Braintree Musical Society – Join in with period songs or just enjoy listening
2:30pm – 3:00pm: Interactive lecture on Gas Warfare - With the Braintree Cadets
