My Story: Yvette Walczak

As the first speaker in our Autumn ‘My Story’ series of personal histories, we are delighted to welcome Yvette Walczak, a Polish child survivor. Born in 1931, Yvette will speak about her experiences growing up in Poland, the Soviet invasion and later her escape. With reference to her autobiography ‘Let Her Go!’, Yvette will discuss the impact of her experiences on her later life. Yvette’s book will be on sale after the talk. Refreshments provided.
