7.00 pm: Could you eat an insect burger? At the rate of population expansion we need to start looking at sustainable food production and insects might be it! An informal talk on our perceptions of insects and some of the issues involved with how an overcrowded planet deals with feeding itself in the future, with Collections Assistant Laura McCoy. 7.30 pm Refreshments. Do you dare to try an edible insect? Stay and handle live insects or just explore the museum. 8.15 pm: Join us for a complimentary screening of Beetlejuice in our Natural History Gallery (not accessible to wheelchair users). Cost: £10.00 includes glass of wine or soft drink and nibbles, including edible insects. Event for adults and young adults
