The Big Squelchy Muddy Clay Draw

Monday to Friday Open 14:00 to 16:00 for families, come along anytime during opening hours for the general public and museum visitors. Join us to 'draw' with clay to make stems, leaves, plants and flowers! Inspired by muddy 'trench' gardens of World War One where soldiers grew and tended vegetables and flowers we will create our own mud garden. Artist Rosa Nguyen or Schools and Community Officer Janine Nelson will be on hand to help families daily between 14:00 and 16:00. At the end of the week the clay garden will be photographed and then recycled.
