Promenade performance: Doctor Faustus

Would you sell your immortal soul to the Devil in exchange for twenty-four earthly years of limitless power? Four of Swords continues its experiments in dramatic alchemy, blending theatre with live music and film projection in a dazzling new interpretation of Marlowe's masterpiece Doctor Faustus. Now presented as a richly furnished Elizabethan merchant’s town house, the priory is the ideal period backdrop and intimate setting for this scary and perfect-for-Halloween retelling of this story. Because of the promenade nature of the show throughout the historic building, we regret that the performance is not suitable for wheelchair users. It is likely to be too scary for those under 11.
