Comets, asteroids and crashes!

Rocky asteroids and icy comets – Robert Massey from the Royal Astronomical Society will introduce us to some of the intriguing objects that share our Solar System and our changing perception of them through history. There’s also a chance to see real meteorites from the museum collection and a demonstration of how to put a comet together using (mostly) commonly available ingredients. Part of a series of lectures sponsored by the Friends of Bristol Museums, Galleries & Archives, see what’s on for the full programme. Please note, the lecture take place at Tyndall Lecture Theatre, University of Bristol NOT Bristol Museum & Art Gallery.
