African rock art and photography: preservong 28,000 years of art

Photographer David Coulson joins museum curato Elizabeth Galvin to discuss Africa's rock art and how photography is used to document and disseminate these works, which span thousands of years. Showing stunning photographs of rock art taken throughout Africa over the past four decades, this talk will discuss the echniques and tools used, the subjects represented and what rock art can tell us about the people that made them. It will also show how new technology is being used to study and preserve rock art.
