CREATE! Careers in .....Menswear 16 - 19 years

YOUNG PEOPLE'S COURSE: If you are thinking of a career in menswear, but not sure what the opportunities are and would like to gain some real life insights, then this three day course is for you. Led by Mark Van Beek, Head of Design of Gloverall, you will gain an overview of all the stages involved in moving a garment from design to production to retail. Find out about the different roles and stages of this process. There will also be practical workshop elements such as drawing designs, costing and marketing. This course will involve visits to a Gloverall London studio and factory, however the course cost does not include travel to and from the studio and factory. No previous experience is needed. There is only a 30 minute lunch break, so it is advisable to bring a packed lunch. Design Studio, Sackler Centre
