First World War at Beamish

Come along and find out about the story of Beamish soldier Thomas Pascoe will be shared in one of the pit cottages. There will also be a WW1 display, poppy making activities, a choir, remembrance activity, Voluntary Aid Detachment recruitment/training and soldier supplies making. On Wednesday 6 August the community of Felling will visit the Museum for a Commemoration Day, including a parade from The Town to Pit Village, in addition to the activities above.
