Inside West Ham Bus Garage

West Ham bus garage is the newest, biggest and greenest bus garage in London, specially designed to replace two depots in Stratford displaced by the Olympic park. The general public are not usually allowed inside, but London Transport Museum and Stagecoach bus company are running two exclusive events inside the bus garage to give YOU the chance to go where few have been before. Find out from the architect, Malcolm McGregor of Pringle Richards Sharratt the design secrets behind West Ham, and the story of its creation from London Transport Museum Research Fellow Oliver Green. These talks will be followed by a tour of the garage by Stagecoach staff. Advance booking is essential for this event. Joining instructions will be sent with your ticket. Please note there is a short walk from the station to the bus garage.
