Spirit Collection Tour

Get a fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse of 22 million specimen, 27 kilometres of shelves, and cutting-edge scientific research in the Darwin Centre’s Zoology spirit building. See hidden treasures such as the giant squid and fish collected by Charles Darwin in the Galapagos. Children must be accompanied by an adult and tours are not suitable for children under the age of eight. Also join us on the second Saturday of each month for a Spirit Collection Tour interpreted into British Sign Language (BSL). During term-time weekdays, 30-minute tours run at 10.30, 11.30 and 12.30. A 50-minute extended tour runs at 13.30. During holidays and at weekends, 30-minute tours run at 11.45, 13.15, 15.15 and 16.15.
