Professor Ronald Hutton is the leading scholar of ancient religious practices and folklore in the United Kingdom and a Fellow of the British Academy, the Royal Historical Society and the Society of Antiquaries. He is a prolific writer, with over 120 published books, chapters and articles, and a well-known figure on television and radio, where he has appeared on such programmes as The Victorian Farm, Timewatch and The Great British Bake-off, as well as presenting his own series, Battling With The Past (Radio 4) and Professor Hutton's Curiosities (Yesterday Channel).
