Formal Opening & lecture by Prof Brian Cox

Join us to celebrate the formal reopening of The Beacon Museum in Whitehaven. Our new exhibition “The Sellafield Story” will be opened by Baroness Verma with Professor Brian Cox. The museum will be closed to the public until 1pm. The first 70 people at The Beacon at 1pm will gain free admittance to a lecture by Professor Brian Cox - "The Science Behind Dr Who". The museum will be open to the public from 1pm to 4.30pm. Last admission 3.45pm.
