Wordsworth Walk

This event will combine a three-mile walk through 'Wordsworth Country' with an introduction to the poet's life and site-specific readings of his poetry. The walk will take about three hours, and it will be led by either Professor Simon Bainbridge or Professor Sally Bushell, both of whom are internationally renowned Wordworth experts based at Lancaster University.This walk will leave from Stock Lane car park, Grasmere and is a low-level walk, but please come equipped with appropriate footwear (ideally walking boots), waterproofs and refreshements.
