Mike Brown, the Historic Head Gardener will be sharing his knowledge of gardening in Georgian times. This is a rare opportunity to gain a fascinating insight into the gardens, plants and tools of the Georgian period, all in the lovely setting of the museum’s gardens where the majority of plants are species known from the 18th century. We will also have demonstrations of other rural crafts and an exhibition of some of our most exquisite lace of the Georgian period.
