Bronze Age Copper Smelting

Humans have been making items from metal for around 8000 years and the process of turning rock into metal is still as magical to us as it was to our distant ancestors. Spend a day learning where metal comes from and see if you can master the primitive technology of the Bronze Age to learn the art of smelting and produce your own unique nugget of copper to take away as proof of your skill. The course will take place outside, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
