Concert for the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music

Performed by the Choir of St Pancras Parish Church and conducted by Christopher Batchelor, this concert will feature one of the most famous Renaissance masses, Palestrina's 'Missa Papae Marcelli', alongside motets by contemporary British composers. The London Festival of Contemporary Church Music is based at St Pancras Parish Church and exists to promote the composition and performance of contemporary liturgical music for choir and organ. Gregory Rose, conductor, composer, and patron of the Festival, says: "The LFCCM is a precious and unique opportunity for the annual showcasing of new sacred works at the highest possible level. It thoroughly deserves its important place in the spectrum of contemporary music in London."
