2 Day Ceramic Workshop

Sunday 4 May and Sunday 18 May 10.30am - 4pm. Fired ceramics will be available to view and collect on Sunday 1 June, 11am -12noon Students will decorate tiles in a variety of ways, inspired by the flowing lines and colours used by William and Evelyn de Morgan in our current exhibition The De Morgans & the Sea. Tuition will take place in a relaxed atmosphere, led by a studio potter whose work is inspired by all these things. The course will cover designing, painting and glazing, with the option to carve or model unfired tiles. At the end it is anticipated that each student will take home several tiles, designed either as individual pieces or as a panel. Finished work will be fired, and a meet up for viewing, discussion and collection will take place after the making days. All materials included. Booking essential on 01202 451820.
