The aim of this workshop is to impart the history and development of this ancient craft, as well as the practical skills involved in weaving corn dollies.
During the day participants will learn about the materials used, how to prepare the materials, a range of weaving techniques and several different designs.
Verna Bailey is a regular demonstrator at the Museum and has been making corn dollies for many years.
This workshop is suitable for both beginners and for the more experienced corn dolly enthusiast.
