What does the Pitt Rivers Museum sound like? Are the objects and cases silent? How do we open our ears to sounds we can't hear? Nathaniel Mann spent 18 months Embedded in the PRM and Oxford Contemporary Music. He produced a series of exciting sound and music projects which gave voice to the collections and responded to the wider context of the Museum. From connecting to rainforest communities in Central Africa, to flying pigeon whistles and chiming bronze cleavers, Nathaniel will chart his adventures through story and song.
